Abstract

We report the imaging features of a case of Kimura¡¯s disease involving the groin. The lesions corresponded to inguinal lymphatic chains and appeared as conglomerated subcutaneous masses with infiltration of the surrounding soft tissue. The masses showed iso-intensity on T1-weighted images, hyperintensity on T2-weighted images and homogeneous enhancement. MR imaging findings of the disease were seen in the soft tissue of the upper extremities. This is the first English language report of Kimura¡¯s disease in the groin with MR imaging findings and histopathological correlations.
